Secretary of State Rice Follows Romney's Lead

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is refusing to join the criticism of the Obama administration for its response to the attack that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans last month, saying Americans should reserve judgment until official investigations have time to piece together the truth.
Rice, who has been campaigning for former Gov. Mitt Romney, echoed Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s comment that the “fog of war” made it hard to grasp what happened when dozens of armed militants stormed the U.S. diplomatic mission and a nearby annex in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11.
“We don’t have all the pieces and I think it’s easy to try and jump to conclusions about what might have happened here,” she told Fox’s Greta Van Susteren in an interview Wednesday. “It’s probably better to let the relevant bodies do their work.”

You can almost hear the line of thinking of the mainstream media these days.  "Please say something stupid...please say something stupid...please say something stupid."  But, it's become patently obvious that the Mitt Romney campaign is pulling in all the sharp elbows and staying classy.  The very fact that Romney and his surrogates (Condoleezza Rice a surprising, yet, welcome one) have not attempted to gain traction with the failures of the current Administration in Benghazi reflects well because President Obama's campaign has become all about sharp elbows and flagrant jabs.

But, that's not all.  Romney has decided to take the high road for the remaining two weeks and this highlights his Presidential facade with each attempted "assault" by his competitor.  Additionally, we have Secretary of State Rice, who comes across as a thoughtful campaigner most interested in the future of the United States, and not a sycophantic believer in Romney's destiny.    Compare that with the absolute partisan vitriol that flowed and flows from past Democrat Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

I think if you got Secretary Rice alone and off the record, she would probably tell you just how much of a failure Benghazi was in terms of ineptitude.  But, she's not going to do that in public without all the facts in front of her.  One...she's way to classy for that.  And, two, that's exactly what the liberal media wants her to do, so they can attempt to create a non-story using their own false narratives, and innovative evaluations of Benghazi as source materials.

The panic on the Left is just starting to ramp up.  Strap in...
