Inbreeding in the Arab World

Good grief!!  I had no idea it was this bad.  Inbreeding in Middle Eastern countries is higher than I could have believed.  Overall, at least 50% of all Arabs are inbred.  You read that correctly...over half.   It's higher in specific nations.  For example, the Nubian region of Egypt (southern portion along the northern border of Sudan) imbreeding is estimated between 60% and 80%.  Saudi Arabia come in between 47% and 60%.

To think I used to make fun of West Virginia.

And, of course, in the name of spreading Islam to the rest of the world, whether they want it or not, you have the immigrants that bring their custom into the West.

Inbreeding among British Muslims is threatening the health of their children, a leading geneticist warned yesterday.
Professor Steve Jones, from University College London, said the common practice in Islamic communities for cousins to marry each other increased the risk of birth defects.
‘There may be some evidence that cousins marrying one another can be harmful,’ he told an audience at the Hay Festival.
‘We should be concerned about that as there can be a lot of hidden genetic damage. Children are much more likely to get two copies of a damaged gene.
‘Bradford is very inbred. There is a huge amount of cousins marrying each other there.’
Studies have shown that 55 per cent of British Pakistanis are married to first cousins – and in Bradford, this rises to 75 per cent.

Yikes!!!

And, of course, the Muslim community was outraged at this obvious example of Islamaphobia.   Check out this official response, and try not to do a spit-take.  You're warned.

Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation, which promotes the image of Muslims in Britain, said: ‘I know many Muslims who have married their cousins and none of them have had a problem with their children.
You were warned.   I'm almost speechless...but not quite.
And then there are the findings on intelligence. Research shows that if one’s parents are cousins, intelligence goes down 10-16 IQ points. The risk of having an IQ lower than 70 (criterion for being “retarded”) increases 400 percent among children from cousin marriages. An academic paper published in the Indian National Science Academy found that “the onset of various social profiles like visual fixation, social smile, sound seizures, oral expression and hand-grasping are significantly delayed among the new-born inbred babies.” Another study found that Indian Muslim school boys whose parents were first cousins tested significantly lower than boys whose parents were unrelated in a non-verbal test on intelligence.

What's my point?  No point.  I'm merely pointing out facts that you are unlikely to see in the news as citizens of Arab countries go out of their way to offend, burn, trash and kill anything American despite the billions in aid and opportunity provided to them by that same country.  It's hard to rationalize their actions without examining all the facts, including the absolute amazing rate of imbreeding in all these countries, and how that might effect their judgments, actions, and perceptions.

EPA Out of Control

Arrrrrgh...Captain Teach points out another (rather two) oversteps by the lovely Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) whose motto for the last four years has been..."screw the Constitution and lawful offices of governance...here's another edict for you peons to suck on."

Ethanol is less powerful, releases just as much if not more greenhouse gases as gasoline, and uses vast amounts of water to produce, not too mention taking large piles of what could become …….. food!!!!!!!…… to produce. Which drives up the cost of food. It also causes deforestation and species eradication around the world as forests and jungles are clear cut and the animals intentionally slaughtered to create farms for materiel used to create biofuels.

Let's see, less powerful, releases those greenhouse thingys, wastes water, starves folks, deforestation...what's not to like. " Stroke of a pen, law of the land...pretty cool."

Whoa, but that's not all.   The EPA requires that you buy not less than 4 gallons of fuel upon purchase.  Genius!!!  Let's apply that everywhere and get this dog of an economy flying again.  Incidentally, can anyone see the correlation of bad law applied here relative to forcing folks to buy health insurance?  No?  Oh, OK, it's just me.

Also, I'm all for efficient government, but this rolling the EPA up into Legislative, Judical, and Executive branch at the same time is not what I had in mind.

Yemen: Armpit of the World

SANAA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi apologized to U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday for the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Yemen's capital Sanaa, as the death toll of the conflict rose to three.

That's nice.  On the surface, it appears, surprisingly, that the President of Yemen is sincere in his contrite apology for the attack on the US Embassy in Yemen.  Of course, you have to take it with a grain of salt, since  Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has relatives operational in Al-Qaeda.  Drone strikes by the US killed one of them back in February.
One of the killed leaders, Fathi Ma’wala, is claimed to be a relative of vice president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi grew up in the  Abyan Region, which is a hotbed for such jihadist nonsense.  Ronald Reagan used to say, "trust but verify."  I think we're past that point concerning political leaders, and heads of state in Middle Eastern countries.  The new motto ought to be, "You're on you own.  Enjoy, and don't bother us."

The attack in Yemen came as part of the widespread anger across the Muslim world over an U.S. movie insulting Islam's Prophet Mohammed.

Well, that's what the Obama Administration would like you to believe.  But, it isn't backed up by the facts.

The protest was planned by Salafists well before news circulated of an objectionable video ridiculing Islam’s prophet, Mohammed, said Eric Trager, an expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

The protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was announced Aug. 30 by Jamaa Islamiya, a State Department-designated terrorist group, to protest the ongoing imprisonment of its spiritual leader, Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman. He is serving a life sentence in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
Well, I suppose our president can't expect to be on the money all of the time, especially when he keeps blowing off his intelligence briefings.

Mark Steyn: An act of war, not a movie protest

I'm thinking it, and Steyn wrote it...you can read it...all at the link.
Meanwhile, in Pakistan, the local doctor who fingered bin Laden to the Americans sits in jail. In other words, while America's clod vice-president staggers around, pimping limply that only Obama had the guts to take the toughest decision anyone's ever had to take, the poor schlub who actually did have the guts, who actually took the tough decision in a part of the world where taking tough decisions can get you killed, languishes in a cell because Washington would not lift a finger to help him.

So, Tunisia, What Can We Do for You?

Today, hundreds Muslims decided to attack the US Embassy there and set it on fire.  They, also, set fire and destroyed an American school located right next door.  While the US media attributes this behavior to some unknown (and unseen) film.  The real cause is ignorance, stupidity, and the teachings of Islam.

The protesters smashed windows, hurled petrol bombs and stones at police from inside the embassy, or started fires in the embassy and the compound. A black plume of smoke rose from the facility.
One protester was seen throwing a computer out of a window, while others walked away with telephones and computers.

Wonderful...here's how we respond:

1.  Please return the $300 Million in financial and technical assistance you have received since January 2011.

2.  Please return the $100 Million that we provided to you so that you could pay the World Bank and African Development Bank longstanding debts.

3.  We will no longer guarantee bonds that the Tunisian government will issue to raise funds to support its stabilization and economic reform plans.  This is a $30 Million value.

4.  We are immediately discontinuing the Information Communications Technology (ICT) Sector Development Project sponsored by the US taxpayer at an unspecified cost.

5.  We will no longer provide assistance to more than 4,500 Tunisian youth in market-relevant skills training, job placement, and access to start-up business resources.  Again, this program is at an unspecified US taxpayer cost.

6.  At this time please consider the Women’s Entrepreneurship Program discontinued.

7.  Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) Franchise Facility is now considered discontinued.  Please return the $50 Million investment in the program and the facilities.  Penalties and interest to be applied quarterly until paid in full.

8.  Please return the Tunisian-American Enterprise Fund investment.  This totals $20 Million.

9.  Please return the $20 Million designated for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Threshold Program.

10.  The United States will no longer accept Tunisian university students from throughout the MENA region to a summer entrepreneurship program at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2012.

11.  Miscellaneous medical, financial, humanitarian, and economic aid(s) will no longer be provided effective immediately.

I'm tired of this shit.  If a country possesses masses who want nothing to do with the West.  Then let's give them their wish.  Stop supporting these cretins with US taxpayer money.  They don't like us.  They are filled with envy.  The message is clear.  Our answer should be easy.  OK...good bye.  Enjoy.  And when you're starving, covered with sores,  and have no prospects remember how much fun you had destroying the property of the only country that went out of its way to try and help.

PS:  I find it interesting that when George Lucas wanted to film a portion of a movie to show the most inhospitable planet in the Star Wars galaxy, he chose Tunisia.

"Apologize to Mohammed"

*SNORT*  It's the  "Apologize to Mohammed" contest over at Blazing Cat Fur.  Give it a shot.  It's rather addictive.

Here's mine:  I'm sorry folks keep spelling your name so many different ways.  However, I guess that's what happens when a good percentage of your followers never bothered with the most remedial form of education and remain illiterate.  Personally, I feel kind of stupid apologizing to you, because I don't think you ever existed.  If you did exist, then I'm truly sorry.  I'm truly sorry I wasn't there to bash your head with a rock when you decided it was OK to consumate your arranged marriage with a 9 year old.
